I have a JBoss domain mode setup as below. When Host1 VM accidently goes down how I can ensure that DC switches automatically to Host2? I believe this is required other applications in Host2 will be down due to unavailability of DC. We didnt get any automated solution other than manual process to start using the backup/cached copy. Please advise what is the Industry standard solution for PROD availability scenario? We have below- Host 1 : Domain controller + host controller1 Host 2: host controller 2

Note- I'm not looking for manual solution to bring Host2 as DC when DC in host1 goes down. https://access.redhat.com/solutions/204333

I read somewhere -Is there any solution of using RHEL clustering and using Azure storage blob/file/CIFS to share the domain config folder?

    1. ensure that exactly 1 instance of DC is running
    2. assign the virtual IP to a box with an active DC

    Thanks in advance.
