We're hosting our website using Cpanel, and we send a welcome email to users when they sign up. However, we have been encountering an issue where emails aren't being delivered to users. After some investigation, we discovered that the problem is related to a "peer certificate" error.

We attempted several fixes, and the solution that worked for us was to disable the SMTP restrictions in the WHM settings. However, this approach introduces a security risk by allowing spammers to send unsolicited emails from our server.

Is there a more secure way to resolve the peer certificate error without compromising email security, such as preventing spamming? We're looking for an alternative solution that allows email delivery to work while maintaining proper security controls.

Any advice or best practices would be greatly appreciated!
