I am one and a half year in software/system programming and development. I am working with MSSQL Server, API as a data access layer, and Visual Studio Code which is interconnected with Android Studio. What I want to understand is, if Android Studio and Visual Studio Code has a major differences. Without mentioning the difference of it in constantly checking the actual source code when there's deprecation warnings or something else.

Since I am now more preferred to use Visual Studio Code as my main IDE for development, but I actually start developing mobile app in Android Studio and I've noticed the ease of use of it, particularly in managing versions of dependencies and gradles (to mention a few).

I am now starting a discussion to talk more thoroughly about mobile development using Visual Studio Code.

I need to broaden my knowledge about using gradle, configuring build.gradle, understanding compileOptions, understanding dependencies with using of specific,

    classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:version_number'

I can easily adapt to new programming languages from copying or reading codes, and then understanding how it really works underneath the runtime of the source code.

But really matters to me is the performance and the infrastructure of my project.

Can someone give me more insights? and I hope my discussion made here make sense. Thanks in advance!
