[Flutter] flutter_carplay only works with the app open on your cell phone

I have a flutter application and I am using the flutter_carplay package. My application basically consists of a list of items, the app works perfectly while the cell phone connected to CarPlay has the app open or even in the background, but when I kill the application on the cell phone and open it through CarPlay my screen is no longer rendered and it simply turns black

I expected my application to work on apple_carplay even without it being open on my cell phone
