WordPress started to see MySQL DB as empty but it is already populated with data

I am using XAMPP v.3.2.4 for WordPress v.5.7 development. WordPress started to see MySQL database as empty database but its already populated with data. All tables are intact and stores needed data. Suddenly WordPress satrted to show me 'new website setup screen'.



I checked database, it is OK and data is still in place. Database information (db name, user and password) in wp-config.php file is also accurate.



I have duplicated the database to new database and changed DB information in wp-config.php file everything started to work fine and WordPress behaves as normal (no first setup screen again).

What can cause such an issue?
